COLLINS PIANO STUDIOS
HEATH, TEXAS 75032

POLICIES               2025             INFORMATION

Collins Piano Studios, located in Heath, Texas, offers weekly instruction in private piano lessons.  My goal is to provide excellent musical instruction in a fun and positive environment.

PRIVATE LESSONS: offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions in-person and online.

LESSON RATES:  Tuition is charged in equal monthly payments (plus cost of books and materials).

ENROLLMENT:  Students are accepted any time of year and enrolled on a month-to-month plan.  Lesson fees are billed on a monthly basis, without a long-term contract.  Enrollment guarantees a specific time slot with the teacher.  If needing to pause or cancel enrollment, 30 day notice is requested.

CANCELED/MISSED LESSONS: Fees are still due when a lesson is missed.  Please give the teacher timely notice of an expected absence.

MAKE-UP LESSONS:  Can be scheduled directly with the teacher.

ONLINE STUDIO CLASSES:  Scheduled at teacher request.  Students perform for each other.  These classes encourage effective practicing and improvement and help develop performance skills, listening skills and team-building within the studio.  They also aid in preparation for upcoming recitals, festivals and contests.

STUDENT PERFORMANCES:  Performance opportunities enhance the musical development of each student as they progress in their music studies.  Recital is offered 1 time per year in the spring.  The Rockwall Music Teachers Association organization sponsors a few festivals/contests during the year in the fall and spring.  Timely communication of these events will be given to the students and their families throughout the school year.

Practicing, parental involvement and consistent attendance are key elements to a student's success.  We look forward to partnering with you in your student’s musical journey!
